Daniel Goldstein’s digital collages begin with photographs of his handrolled woodblock print gradations. These are the backgrounds used in his “Horizon” series of collages. The photographs are sampled and digitally manipulated. The results are works inspired in part by the mysterious prints and paintings of the French Symbolist Odilon Redon.  Each image is available in three sizes (20″ x 20″, 30″ x 30″, and 40″ x 40″) in editions of 8, with 2 artist’s proofs.
